More About the Owner
Rachel Stiver Bell is the CEO, Founder, and driving force behind THE BOSS - Builders Outlet Super Store. A University of Texas at Austin graduate, she built her early career as VP and Group Media Director at TM Advertising, one of the country's leading agencies, working with major national brands.
In 2008, she stepped out on faith with a vision for doing home improvement differently and launched THE BOSS in the Dallas area. Her background in branding, client relationships, and operations helped turn that idea into one of DFW's most recognized home improvement destinations, earning a spot on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies and the SMU Cox Dallas 100, which honors North Texas' top entrepreneurial businesses. THE BOSS's story was even featured on CNBC's Blue Collar Millionaires.
Ask Rachel what she's proudest of though, and it's not the awards. It's raising three kids while building a company from scratch, trusting God through both at once, and doing it all with the same grit and grace that define everything she touches.
She'll also tell you it's her team: the people she's assembled, and the lasting partnerships they've built with customers and vendors, which she considers the real measure of the company's success.
Today, with 17+ years in business and 60,000+ square feet of showroom and warehouse space on Harry Hines Blvd. in Dallas, Rachel still leads the same way she started. Hands-on, people-first, faith-forward.
